Based off two days of returns it looks like Anchorage is on the cusp of being entirely in the control of the political left.
Former Anchorage Assemblywoman Suzanne LaFrance enjoys a sizable 4,907 vote lead over conservative incumbent Mayor Dave Bronson.
The first two days of counting show 27,404 votes for Bronson and 32,311 for LaFrance, who is part of the leftist movement that has taken a firm hold over the school board, city council and now the mayor’s office.
With nearly 60,000 votes counted so far, LaFrance has a 8% lead. Another 7,600 votes have been received by the election center, but not yet tabulated by the city’s Dominion voting machines. This is due to rejected ballots, ballots which were rerun through the sorter, and voided ballot envelopes when a voter requests a replacement.
Regular updates of vote totals will be posted on the city website over the next two weeks as mail-in ballots trickle in. On May 29, the Election Commission will meet in a public session to review challenged ballots and the Anchorage Assembly is scheduled to certify the final results on May 31 during a special Assembly meeting.

Were the Dominion Machines in use? In his podcast “”Dominion Fraud” Wolves and Finance” the narrator who is an economist proves with their own evidence that Dominion is easily tampered with. Even Serbia voted in one of the state elections. Alaska is noted in the podcast to get special treatment.and a target. Watch the podcast and call “Foul.” The leftists have to cheat. With all leftists in control, there will be no one else to blame but themselves when the conditions of this city get worse under their direction. The spotlight is on the dems fully now. If the assembly and the mayor actually work together and stop with the childish fighting, and we see improvements, then good. I for one will keep doing what I do to make Anchorage better under my own power and continue to lead by example.

I don’t know how anyone is surprised at the LaFrance landslide. Bronson and those he supported have lost almost every election by a large margin since the Bronson squeaked by on. It’s time for the Save Anchorage and Alaska Watchman crowd to give it up.

SO…IF this election had taken place in the Mat-Su Borough, the results would have been available NO LATER than today, 5-15-2024. Sadly, the democrats are probably busy making up ballots to ensure Lafrance’s win.
Is Lafrance, if she gets in to office, going to push to install the 15-minute cities or the SMART cities under her reign? As I stated before, it looks like Anchorage/Eagle River (and the valley!) are already being shaped into these 15-minute cities. Just take a look at the amenities within walking distance of an area.

Abandon ship! To all you conservatives, plan your exit. You lost. Let it sink. let the baby killing, reprobates have thier perceived utopia as disease, crime, poverty and all social ills associated with unbridled liberalism increase. Let them stew in the results of thier choices. why subject yourself and your children to it with them? Your first priority is your family, act on that.
It’s time to face reality. Hard right conservatism is no longer an option. Never before has an incumbent mayor lost in a landslide and almost everyone he has supported has been soundly fefeated. Kathy Henslee, Leigh Sloan and Stephanie Taylor (twice?) were all fantastic candidates… intelligent, personable, attractive women who were tainted by Bronson’s support.
“Dominion” Well that says it all. Don’t even need to count with Dominion use! The outcome is a foregone conclusion.

jon, please list your references for this information that you are sharing. I’d like to see where Dominion won their lawsuit against Giuliani. Show the proof or it ain’t true.
Go to the podcast Wolves and Finance and click on the wolf two times and find the video “Dominion Voting Machine Fraud” Economist Di Greggorio used Dominion’s own testimony to prove the machines can be easily accessed. You can even use your pen pushing on the back to change numbers and delete. The podcast gives special mention of Alaska’s modems being in use. This election needs to be challenged and our governor Dunleavy needs to order the removal of the Dominion machines and an apology to the citizens for being tricked into the “investment.” The “woke” crowd has no morals and will cheat as needed and pretend they really won. You will recognize them because they are haters.
