The Juneau Pregnancy Resource Center is a pro-life beacon in a community dominated by pro-abortion politics.

Since 2019, the center has offered pro-life options for pregnant women in crisis, operating just down the street from the former site of the now shuttered  Planned Parenthood abortion clinic.

The pro-life center offers free lab-quality pregnancy tests, along with a variety of parenting resources that cover prenatal care, parenting techniques, healthy relationships, and life skills. It also provides classes on pregnancy loss, abortion healing, fertility awareness, and family planning.

With Planned Parenthood-backed politicians wielding a firm grip over local politics, the pro-life center stands as a counter to the culture of death in Alaska’s capital city.

On Oct. 23, the center will hold its 5th annual gala and auction fundraiser, which will include live music, appetizers, drinks from The Grind, a packed silent auction, and a popular live dessert auction.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. at Juneau Christian Center (8001 Glacier Highway, across from Fred Meyer).

“Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary!,” an announcement for the fundraiser states. “It’s an event like no other, and we want to see you there!”

Those who wish to attend can RSVP up until 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 22. For more information, click here.
