One of Alaska’s leading pro-life and pro-family advocacy groups is issuing endorsements for local contests in cities, boroughs and townships.
The following recommendations by Alaska Family Action are based on one or more of the following: legislative record (for incumbents); responses to candidate surveys; personal interviews or knowledge of candidate; or research showing a conservative background and experience. Endorsement indicates a high level of confidence that a candidate will generally govern and vote as a conservative on social issues.
The cities of Palmer and Wasilla will hold elections on Oct. 6. The Mat-Su Borough elections are Nov. 3.

Colleen Vague is on the Mat Su Borough Planning Commission; she supports the Mat Su Borough Outdoor Shooting Facility Ordinance, the driveway ordinance and the lake ordinance. Do we want more regulation in the Mat Su Borough by voting for Colleen Vague?
I’m not a fan of Colleen Vagen. I have been watching her in the Planning and zooning meeting. She is just there for her agenda and not for what the people think or feel. She will tell what you want to here and do something different in her votes. Her plan to change the way of life in the Valley. To be more like Anchorage. The plan is to make a strong hole Mayor and Assembly. That way the people have no vote on what they do. This will change the way of life we love and freedom we have in the Valley. Thank you for all the information you guys provide to Alaskens.
Thanks again,
