Claire Culwell is a living reminder of the tragic impact of abortion. In 2009, she met her birth mother and discovered that she had survived an abortion which took the life of her twin sibling.

After surviving the abortion, Culwell was adopted into a loving family that ensured she felt loved and wanted growing up. She now travels the world sharing a hopeful message of forgiveness, redemption and truth, while exposing the humanity of unborn babies and how abortion hurts women.

Culwell is an internationally known pro-life speaker and author. She has been featured on Fox News, The Daily Wire, Focus On The Family and many other media outlets. She now lives in Texas with her family.

This coming October, Culwell will travel to Alaska to speak about her experiences and the importance of supporting pro-life efforts. Her presentation in Wasilla is part of the fall fundraising banquet for HeartReach Center, a pro-life outreach in the Mat-Su that empowers mothers and fathers to choose life for their unborn babies.

The banquet will also feature HeartReach’s new mobile medical unit, which travels Alaska’s road system to provide pro-life care, testing and support for women facing unplanned pregnancies.

Launched in 1985 by a group of Mat-Su residents to support young women and parents who felt unprepared to care for a baby, and who might be considering an abortion, HeartReach has expanded considerably over the past four decades.

The pregnancy resource center now provides services such as STI testing, ultrasounds, pregnancy testing and has a no-cost market for parents, with items such as clothes, diapers and formula.

The nonprofit provides support from pregnancy to parenting, as well as several abortion recovery classes and medication that can reverse chemical abortions. Additionally, HeartReach has a program called Step Up Now (SUN) to Healthy Relationships, an educational program for teens.

The upcoming banquet is set for Oct. 6, at Wasilla Bible Church. To reserve a seat, click here.

Heart Reach is a wonderful organization that has served the Mat-Su Valley providing caring and compassionate FREE services. I have volunteered with them on various occasions and can vouch for everything stated in this article. They daily see difficult situations in which a lot of emotion is involved. The mobile unit will be so helpful to people living in remote towns and in between towns where transportation to services like Heart Reach isn’t always available. Particularly for those young people not yet of driving age or who do not own a car of their own.

If anyone can see and hear Claire Culwell and or Gianna Jessen and others and not ‘get’ the wondrous sanctity of life–love and forgiveness? I was pressured by a relative to ‘get rid of’ my now 56 year old son. He is now enjoying his own grandchildren. grandma

So glad for your decision! A large percentage tags of women undergo abortion at the behest of an authority figure.
I too like Claire am a survivor of an abortion attempt which took the life of my twin, like Claire. I too like Claire am a member of The Abortion Survivors Network with over 600 other abortion attempt survivors! But unlike Claire, I live right here in Anchorage! I hope to connect with her when she comes!!
