Let’s not forget those eight Alaska Senate Republicans who abandoned their three most conservative colleagues – Senators Shelley Hughes, Mike Shower and Rob Myers – to form the Democratic controlled bi-partisan majority that is now pushing an extremely radical and entirely mandatory sex education bill for all public schools. This comes in spite of placating assurances by Senate Majority Leader Gary Stevens that the “bipartisan” coalition would avoid “controversial” issues, and focus on essential state services.
Not so much.
Unless your idea of “essential services” is graphic, LGBTQ-infused sexual education across all grade levels. This should come as no surprise. Republicans who are willing to freeze out conservative colleagues, shelve the party platform and empower hard leftists are nothing more than useful Democratic pawns.
Alaskans may have only elected nine Democrats to the 20-member Senate, but these leftists call the important shots thanks to RINOs who actually like playing second fiddle. Lets not forget their names:
— Gary Stevens (Kodiak)
— Cathy Giessel (Anchorage)
— Bert Stedman (Sitka)
— Click Bishop (Fairbanks)
— Jesse Bjorkman (Nikiski)
— James Kaufman (Anchorage)
— Kelly Merrick (Eagle River)
— David Wilson (Wasilla)

Well they always say nothing good about an amoeba! They’re spinless amoeba all 8 of them. Makes you wander how Cathy Geissel got back in after all she did or GaryStevens, put in Kodiak instead of prison because of a favor to Uncle Ted. We failed our selves. We should of gotten rid of the trash instead of moving it from place to place and stinking up everyone else’s neighborhood! Think about that Alaskans!
Its called “passing the trash”.
These wannabees are following the pathetic example of our federal “representatives” Dan Sullivan and Murkowski. Murkowski got the office for doing the bidding of big money and power in DC. She does not represent Alaska….and hasn’t for a long time. Dan Sullivan did very well confronting the Biden admin for their lies about oil. Great clip of him holding his own in an interview with the energy czar. Then he flipped over to line up with Murkowski on abortion. What???? Don’t know the end of the story yet with Governor Dunleavy. Does the Senate rule the governor? Question on the floor. Waiting…still waiting….for a substantial response from him concerning perverse practices of the school systems of the state of Alaska.
Diana I am screaming this with a deep well of respect for you and your thoughts! Dunleavy is completely known at this point! He is not prolife!!!!! He is pro budget!!!!
Ask him!!!!! I wish all the 1/2” deep thinking religious people would review the evidence by the things that are done, and more importantly the things that are purposely not done would simply let the evidence demand the verdict!!! Not your presuppositions!!!! Then we might begin to row in the same direction!!!
One of those names dropped above is married to a well known union boss. A blind man in a coma could’ve seen this coming.
Another way to look at it is compromise, supposedly a hallmark of legislative achievement.
These traitorous Senators showed no transparency, no integrity, no sense of right and wrong. We know their motivation to be power and money. By the way, Isn’t it unlawful to contribute to the delinquency of a minor? We need a bill written to protect parental rights from such as these. Senators Hughes, Myers and Shower understand how to raise good citizens.
Quoting from the small book ADVICE TO THE YOUNG by Noah Webster, Webster logically laid out the case for God, Our Creator, and for strong families, stating that parents are the natural guardians of their children. It is their [the parents’] duty to feed, clothe, protect and educate them; for these purposes it is proper and necessary that parents should have authority to direct their [children’s] actions. Parents therefore are bound by duty and by right to govern their children:…It is proper that parents should be entrusted with the instruction of children, because children have every thing to learn… Parents have learned what is right, and what is wrong; what is duty and what is sin;…”
Although the names have changed frequently to confuse us, . The Alaska Senate “Democrats and RINOS” are atheists have a different Naturalistic worldview. There is no interest for atheists to raise up future, good citizens for our state. These atheists cry “victim” while spreading lies and deceptions, and rewriting our History. They hope to break down families to destabilize America. We want a bill that protects parental rights sooner rather than later..
Governor Dunleavy Announces Bills to Pay Teachers Recruitment and Retention Incentive, Ensure Parental Rights in Schools March 7, 2023
The bill recognizes every child’s right to privacy by requiring school districts to include procedures addressing the physical safety and privacy of students in locker rooms and restrooms as part of the school’s disciplinary and safety program. Physical safety and privacy of students in locker rooms is to be addressed through the physical separation of students by biological sex, access to single occupant facilities, or other safety and privacy protocols consistent with A.S. 14.18.040.
We’re way down stream of traditional education practices. Now we’re saturating the heads of OUR little ones with sex thoughts, toys, practices, and options!!!?
Governor dunleavy’s proposal is just great for an insane asylum.! This dope wants to insure that parents can be involved in the “university of perversity “!!!
What the hell is happening???
