Editor’s note: An upcoming conference in Wasilla aims to equip and inspire local pastors to teach their congregations about true biblical citizenship in the modern world. The conference is part of a national movement that looks at how the U.S. Constitution grants unique rights and responsibilities that allow believers to positively influence culture and government for the betterment of the nation.

Below is a letter explaining the one-day event.

My Fellow Pastors:

“…for such a time as this.”  These words from Mordecai to Esther were spoken at a critical time in history. These words have been ringing in your fellow pastor’s ears, and in your ears. We followers of Christ are at a critical crossroad in our Country.

My name is Louis Day and I pastored for over 20 years before retiring. Presently, God has gifted us with a tool from Patriot Academy that is awakening and empowering God’s people to stand for truth and godly principles for our Country called, “Biblical Citizenship in Modern America.” These classes are taking our country by storm, reviving the biblical basis for our country and Constitution. The responses from pastors and all those who have attended the course have been overwhelmingly encouraging.

Now more than ever, our nation needs biblical citizens to awaken to the dynamic unity of being dedicated citizens of the Kingdom of God and impactful citizens of the nation in which we live, to restore biblical values and liberty at the local level and beyond.

This foundational course offers a quick-start guide to the U.S. Constitution, complete with an overview of all the articles and amendments via interactive and fast-paced presentations. Great for ages 10 – 110! Learn how the Founders relied on their biblical worldview to secure the blessings of liberty. Immerse yourself in encouraging historical facts and inspirational true stories that are regrettably absent from our educational instructions today.

Being Biblical Citizens requires a clear understanding of biblical principles and how to apply them in the ecclesia! Through this class you will be inspired and equipped like never before to put your faith into action at such a time as this!

I know pastors are busy and have limited available time. I’m partnering with King’s Chapel of Wasilla to host a one-day event called, “Biblical Citizenship” to present a streamlined version of “Biblical Citizenship in Modern America,” and we would like you and your leadership team to come. You can preview information on the class at this link.

There is no cost for this event, or for the full eight-week training that can be provided to your congregation. If you prefer, your leadership can become free coaches and provide the training to your congregation as well. Anyone can become a free coach. The class is video based and easy to facilitate. There are other local coaches in the area ready to assist with any questions and materials. Patriot Academy also has great customer support.

Please RSVP to join us Saturday, September 16th from 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM at King’s Chapel at 1701 Lucille Street, Wasilla.  We will present six videos with breaks, discussion, and a lunch break. The presentation is a condensed version of what is typically eight class days.

We believe you will catch the movement of God’s Spirit through these courses so that you host the full eight-week course at your church, for your people, “for such a time as this”!

The Bible Lives but the Constitution is now a dead piece of paper.

  • Jen says:

It good the pastors have something to do together. It’ll give them a chance to meet one another. Teaching the Bible is the greater teaching resource for making biblical citizens when Pastors, their wives, and Elders are truly making disciples than only just church members.

Will you be there Jen ? I encouraged Jeff Fenske to be there as well but at MCC , same for you!!!

Funny to me that the church is now going to “teach” about the constitution when the church itself has treated the constitition like a dead piece of paper since Lyndon B Johnson’s presidency by being dupped into the 501C3 tax exempt contract. The church was already tax immune according to the constitution and by signing the contract it only muzzled the church by including a long list of what pastors cannot speak about. All of the topics are related directly to government and politics. If churches want to rise, start by unincorporating! If you are sitting in an American church you are most likely in a 501C3 church and wondering why no one is talking about the issues at hand. Wondering why the moral degration of society has become acceptable. Wondering where the power of God is at. Look for a free church, an unincorporated non 501C3 pastor who can legally say it like it is and isnt controlled by an elder board that is influenced by numbers, attendence and tithes. Support him!

WRONG YOU ARE !! I was a part of the Diocese of Fargo NorthDakota which took an active role in opposing the legalization of abortion!L This came from Bishop Justin Driscoll on down and throughout all the parishes. Sadly our Protestant brethren were lacking in this endeavor. Where were you and what were doing to prevent this national, affliction in ‘73’ ?

This event has been brought to the valley by a part of the Christian church that I personally try to steer clear of! No offense intended to those in the movement that I consider charismatic. A conversation about that may be helpful some other time. I am very pleased that they stepped up to present this opportunity. It goes without saying that I regret that the church sector of reserved conservatives in this valley are not part of meeting this need in this country’s desperate hour! It is deeply disturbing that those who are concerned about what is happening have been lazily been labeled Christian nationalist or some other comments made to dissuade and separate from said movement!
It’s imperative that if you actually appreciate freedom and your God given rights, that you act upon that which you know is right and if you don’t know, here’s an opportunity to get informed!

  • Proud Alaskan says:

If one person gets saved and Christian’s learn to stand up for our God-given rights, then it’s worth going to these classes.
