Dr. Anne Zink

While President Trump’s new nominee to run the CDC has dismayed vaccine skeptics, the pick has drawn high praise from the likes of Dr. Anne Zink, Alaska’s former Chief Medical Officer, who persistently pushed Covid jabs and multiple boosters on infants, children, pregnant women and the elderly.

Earlier this month, Trump picked Dr. Erica Schwartz to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Schwartz – who holds degrees in medicine, law, and public health – is a career veteran of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Having served as Deputy Surgeon General and Chief Medical Officer for the Coast Guard, her resume is a blueprint of the “medical establishment.”

Supporters, such as Zink, however, see her as a perfect pick.

“Health policy is political, but health itself should never be partisan,” Zink told The New York Times. “To rebuild the trustworthiness of the CDC, the country needs leaders grounded in service, science and the public.”

Perhaps one of the most controversial figures in Alaska public life, Zink served as the state’s top medical officer from 2018 to 2024, during which time she maligned those who expressed concerns about the experimental Covid shots, while unquestioningly echoing every new and changing recommendation by Dr. Anthony Fauci and the CDC when it came to pushing Covid jabs and multiple boosters on infants, children, pregnant women, the elderly and just about everyone else – healthy or not.

Since stepping down as Alaska’s Chief Medical Officer in 2024, Dr. Anne Zink has been busy on the national stage, working to undermine those who point out serious concerns about vaccine injuries.

She is yet to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate’s Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Murkowski is a ranking member of the committee but has not yet publicly endorsed or criticized Schwartz.

Dr. Schwartz has a career-long commitment to vaccinations as the solution to disease prevention, and she was instrumental in enforcing vaccination programs within the military and later helped direct the federal Covid jab rollouts.

Her selection by Trump drew immediate backlash from the anti-vaccine community with high-profile critics, such as vaccine-safety lawyer Aaron Siri, claiming her history of issuing military and civilian vax mandates reflects a lack of “basic ethics and morals to lead the CDC.”

“This agency does not need another cheerleader for industry; it needs a regulator over industry,” Siri emphasized earlier this month. “Her prior promotion, let alone mandates, of nearly a dozen different vaccines leave little hope she will objectively oversee CDC’s vaccine program which has, between 1986 and the 2026, gone from 3 injections to 29 injections, including in utero, by an infant’s first birthday, while chronic childhood disease has gone from under 10% to over 40% of children, most related to immune system dysregulation.”

While Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. congratulated Schwartz on her nomination, he simultaneously emphasized that he aims to work with her to “restore trust, accountability, and scientific integrity at the @CDCgov so we can return it to its core mission and Make America Healthy Again.”

Dr. Zink’s vocal support for Schwartz highlights a brewing divide within the nation’s health community and signals a potential pivot within the Trump administration.

A well-known critic of many childhood vaccines, Kennedy has been championed as a reformer who would push back against Big Pharma and the medical establishment, while putting renewed focus on healthy diets, lifestyle changes and chronic disease prevention.

Schwartz is seen as a return to the old status quo.

She is yet to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate’s Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Murkowski is a ranking member of the committee but has not yet publicly endorsed or criticized Schwartz.

If approved, Schwartz would become the agency’s fourth leader in roughly a year.

The problem with the mentality of doctors is that they are always surrounded by sick people. This is their whole world so they think that all of the world is sick. They don’t get true exposure to healthy people so they believe they can apply the “cure” to everyone, for their own good of course.

    Resist!

    • Evan S Singh says:

“The problem with the mentality of doctors is that they are always surrounded by sick people.” That’s true and funny but has zero relevance about the quality of the decision making of highly educated doctors

      • Elizabeth Henry says:

There are als0 many highly educated idiots holding the title of doctor. An MD does not equate to common sense, logic, or even wholistic understanding of health. Our western healthcare system is extremely siloed, which is pretty counter productive to keeping people healthy.

    • Ed says:

      Very good points made.

  • diana says:

Criminally charge both of the dr’s.

  • Stephanie Younkins says:

Joel…. You certainly love to “stir the pot” with your inflammatory words! Why not call it what it was … a shot, an injection, a vaccine. BUT NO… it’s got to be a jab. I personally thought Dunleavy and Zink initially handled the pandemic calmly, following the science WE KNEW AT THE TIME… and made great adjustments to the unique Alaskan environment. I believe both of these people did what was right with the information we had at that time! YOU continue to say vaccines are a direct cause of illness WHEN there has been no DIRECT CAUSE between them. Stop!

    • Jake Libbey says:

Sorry Stephanie, but you want to extend grace where none was extended. Anne Zink told everyone that the shots were safe, she steered marketing dollars in the millions and went on shows to tell pregnant women that there was no risk to them and their kids. She parroted everything that Saint Fauci made-up at random: 6 feet social distancing, masks are effective, get the jab and you won’t get covid, get the jab and you won’t spread covid, get the jab and you wont get covid as bad, natural immunity is inferior to vaccinated immunity, safe and effective, two weeks to flatten the curve. They likened Joel and I to murderers in the Anchorage Daily News for simply sharing WITHOUT ANY EDITORIAL the national VAERS data which Harvard estimates is underreported by a factor of 10. MUCH of the recommendations were known-known inventions, and the comments that things were safe were KNOWN UNKNOWNS. They even went so far as to change the definition of Vaccine to suit the popular dogma, that was not science based, but a purity test and the single largest money grab in world history. Facebook here in Alaska was aflame with comments that anyone who isn’t vaccinated who gets sick should be left to flop like a fish and die in hospital parking lots (among endless others) with the same government coterie of sycophants and media darlings hearting and thumbs-upping the sentiments. The list of excrement is endless and to date, the only person with the guts to make any apology is Adam Crum, who acknowledged that he had no business categorizing some folks as essential and others as non-essential when people’s lives, homes, mortgages, and everything else was on the line. Bravo to him. Dunleavy cowered in the state capitol and couldn’t even be bothered to speak up when people were told to take this shot or be fired, even if it is a businesses right to do so technically. When Kriner’s Diner was under fire for not falling to Ethan Spendowitz’s fines and tyranny, not a peep from Dunleavy. Yes, no one was lined up in front of a firing squad and told death or vaccine, but there is little difference to a family breadwinner. You people who worship at the altar of government will never understand the damage to public trust wrought by COVID and the dearth of apologies for what was done wrong. “What we knew at the time” falls flat on its face in the face of OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE, and neither Joel or I, or tens of thousands of Alaskans who happily did NOT get the jab will ever regret it.

        Jake, Speak Loudly, Amen

      • Ok in Anchorage says:

I agree 100%. Way to lay it all out there. Didn’t Murkowski go on a tv show talking with Zink about being “a mama bear” and protecting yourself and your children by taking the jab? Don’t ask the medical establishment, but ask any labor and delivery nurse or midwife about the rates of stillbirths, irregular post-partum bleeding, unhealthy placentas, multiple miscarriages, and infertility suffered by women who took the jab, and then convince me that Murky and Zink were working with the best info they had at the time. Total BullSnot. Never, never, never inject a pregnant woman with a trial or experimental vaccine. We’ve know that for YEARS.
But lastly, let’s not forget that, when multiple people called on Dunleavy to fire Zink for her Covid crap and her links to population control groups, Dunleavy responded by giving her an award. Nothing says “bought and paid for” like a stunt like that. Good riddance, Dunleavy.

      • No daily nose swabbing for me says:

        Jake
        Experiences:
People would come into my office and demand that I tell them if I took the covid jab. I would say ‘sorry, per HIPPA privacy I do not disclose my medical decisions’. I had people walk out of my office, condemning me for not making them confident that I was ‘safe’ to be around.
I was denied seeing an MD at an ENT office because I wouldn’t reveal my jab choices. However, I was allowed to be seen at that office by a PA who revealed that the MD’s refused to see unvaxed patients. AND the PA revealed his wife had auto immune issue complications – but wait! How come the MD’s didn’t feel danger about their PA seeing (possible) unvaxed patients, did they care more about themselves than their employee?
Also: A military person came into my office and as part of his visit he disclosed that he had autoimmune issues. Because he was forced to take the military jab, he developed heart issues and because of this new condition was told throughout the rest of his life he was not to lift anything heavy. This is a true experience, sad to say. He was a young man with the rest of his life ahead of him now suffering with a depilating life-threatening complication he did not have before the jab.
        Sadly I could go on.

      • Jonathan Evan says:

Right on brother, you’re not wrong.

      • JenL says:

Jake, I have yet to meet anyone who refused the experimental mRNA shots regret it. On the other hand….

    • Crook Wielder says:

      Found the medical mafia apologist.

      Disgusting.

Take care of your health and you wont be susceptible to the snake oil salesmen who call themselves doctors.

Pharmaceuticals are patented for profit derived from what nature provides for free.

      Back into the pen, sheep!

    • CD says:

“Science we knew at the time” Wrong. The science said masks don’t stop a virus. That was what nurses learned in the 1970’s-1980’s according to a couple of retired medical workers.

    • Herman Nelson says:

No. It was a scary time of “no jab, no job”. My employment should not depend whether I chose to get a vaccination or not. The “science” was lie. It was a rush job and big pharma made billions off of a “medication” that did not work. People were tricked into signing statements letting big pharma off the hook for lawsuits. The “medication” is required to ship with instructions and side effects in each package. Those side effect sheets had text on the exposed sides, but were blank on the rest. Dunlevy was the cooler head in this whole situation. Zink reminded me of Dr. Mengele, which made that time scarier. I still have a “critical employee” letter in the visor of my truck because of the crazy $250,000 fine the state was going to enforce for traveling to the work place. No, I’m not going to forget what the Covidians did. I think everyone involved should be put on Nuremberg trial for crimes against humanity. If this was 1940’s Germany, you would’ve been reporting your Jewish neighbors because it was “der reich” thing to do.

  • Greg says:

Fauci should be in prison for life….Zink was and is a fool like her supporters are. Millions across the world were either killed or seriously injured by Covid or the Covid jab. Even after the data has shown this, Zink and her ilk continue to prescribe their junk! This is beyond misguided, this is MALPRACTICE!

  • Steven Chappell says:

Government should not mandated anything. I myself will make my own decisions. That is what you call Freedom.

    • Jonathan Evan says:

Absolutely! A “mandate” is not law. We have to agree to said mandate. The word “NO” is a complete sentence, or “I do not consent.”

  • Dave Maxwell says:

Can you say accountability? I didn’t think so

  • Ken says:

Anne Zink and Adam Crumb were two peas in a pod during that fiasco!

  • Doug glenn says:

So here is the problem Dr Zink. After the Covid scam NO one I know trust the medical establishment. Nearly every person I know who got the jab is either wounded or dead. WE the people don’t trust you. Trust is sacred once violated it’s hard to get back.

  • FreedomAK says:

And I’ll STILL tell them to shove it. Proudly not vaxed here. And no regrets.

  • Dave Maxwell says:

Can you spell accountability? I didn’t think so

  • Y wright says:

This article should have added how much Adam Crum loved and hyped Anne Zinke.

  • OAPSkweez says:

God made us to learn and adapt. This is also true of our body’s ability to fight germs, infections, and viruses. Natural immunity is better than man-made vaccines. Yes, I believe that in the early days of vaccines, God inspired people how to make vaccines. But greed took over and they started making vaccines for every malady under the sun.

PROUDLY Jab-free; swabbed once (no way I’m padding their stats!); wore a mask 4x during the whole Wuvid fiasco (one of which was a home-made JOKE on flights to and from the Lower 48!). I had a “doctor” in the hospital ED tell me to “Go and get your care someplace else” when I told him I get raging headaches when I try to wear a mask.

Virions (which make up viruses) are so tiny that one would need an electron microscope to see them. Using a mask (even an N-95) to stop them is like taking a thousand bb’s, throwing them at a soccer net, and expecting the net to repel them. Sure, a few might get stopped, but the majority of them will sail on through.

Even scientists who work with viruses wear special suits with an independent breathing apparatus.

People are gullible and STUPID! Why would ANYONE believe that “they” would (could) come up with a vaccine in such a short time when they STILL don’t have a “cure” for the common cold?

  • Pierre Lonewolf says:

Some of you people need to read history………this is public health issue and your feelings are not science…….up until WW2 more soldiers died of disease than combat……..I remember polio and kids who got it and I’m only 71 years old…….tuburculosis was another one that I saw kill ……people died of all kinds of things we get vacinated for these days…….if you wanna die from a preventable disease go right ahead but don’t endanger other people…….
