Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) in Houston will open the nation’s first “detransition” clinic after a years-long investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and Texas’ Healthcare Program Enforcement Division concluded “that TCH fraudulently billed Texas Medicaid for ‘unallowable and illegal ‘gender-transition’ interventions.’”

The settlement, reached last Friday, also requires TCH to cease administering puberty blockers to minors, pay $10 million in penalties, fire five “woke” doctors who performed “gender transition” procedures on children, and fully fund the detransition clinic for five years.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wrote in a statement:

“Today is a monumental day in the fight to stop the radical transgender movement. This historic settlement reflects an institutional and fundamental cultural shift away from radical ‘gender’ ideology. In addition to helping establish the first-ever Detransition Clinic and securing millions, this settlement will ensure that the deranged child mutilators who hurt our kids are fired and held accountable.”

Under the terms of this landmark agreement, Texas Children’s will establish the first-ever multidisciplinary clinic designed to provide medical care to patients who were subjected to ‘gender-transition’ procedures. This Detransition Clinic will help patients reverse the damage caused by ideologically-motivated physicians who harmed patients by performing dangerous medical interventions for the purpose of ‘transitioning’ them.”

Every hospital that knowingly allowed the mutilation of children to occur on its watch should be similarly required to provide restorative care to undo the profound harm inflicted on innocent children. Thank you, Texas, for paving the way on this issue!

Here in Alaska, the Alaska State Medical Board drafted regulations in August of 2025 to prevent minors from being surgically and chemically mutilated by medical professionals. This matter has been sitting in the Dunleavy Administration in the Department of Law for 9 months, awaiting modifications, if needed, that would then go back to the Board for public comments and a final vote.

And the clock keeps ticking.

We continue to ask the Dunleavy Administration to get the Department of Law to do its job and get the regulations back to the Alaska State Medical Board so they can do their job.

Word has it the Alaska State medical board has gained some common sense in the last couple, few years. If only we had more common sense in our state leadership. I will add my ten cents, for what it is worth, to the governor.

First we need to stop these disgusting people. So they can Never mutilate a child again.

  • Paul Hart says:

What kind of medical and surgical procedures would a “de-transitioning” clinic specialize in?

      Right?
At the very least, giving children’s parents an honest assessment of the damage done by hormonal and/or surgical procedures, followed by an exploration of what treatments might mitigate the effects of the damage and help their bodies and souls heal as they grow into adulthood. -this is unchartered territory because children have never been experimented on like this on such a grand scale. John’s Hopkins did it to adults in the 70’s, with disastrous affects. The medical community knew better this time around, but sacrificed children on the altar of the almighty dollar and a growing divinity complex.
