Alaska gubernatorial hopeful Adam Crum has chosen health care executive Robert T. Craig III as his lieutenant governor running mate.
Craig brings a wealth of knowledge regarding Alaska’s health care industry. Having served as the longtime chief executive officer for Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute, he oversaw operations for the company’s six locations statewide.
Craig holds a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University in Kansas, as well as a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southeast Missouri State University. He began his career in the medical field in 1990 as the chief of ambulatory care at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Kansas City, following three years as a platoon leader and tactical control officer in the U.S. Army.
